POLL: What will the Dolphins do with Randy McMichael next season?

IMO, he will play out this season, get franchised, and be traded to the highest bidder next year. I can't stand watching him drop pass after pass and half-a$$ing everything else. He will be asking waaaay too much $$$ considering his play on the field. Sure, he's a vocal leader on the team, but I'd rather have another guy on the team with a big mouth handle those duties, and trade McMike for roughly the 2nd round pick I think he could net us. He REALLY needs to step it up.

I hope this post has nothing to do with the guy fumbling and dropping balls yesterday.
He had a bad game, and it is better to have a bad game which does not count than a bad game in the regular season.

He had the exact same problem the entire second half of last season, as well.

It's preseason >.>

With the same problems from last season carrying over to this preseason it looks to me like this is starting a trend of poor play.

Wait, I thought people on this sight were comparing MC Mike to the likes of Shockey etc. I think he is good and why give up a good TE? Preseason is exactly that. He is probablt NOT used to having the ball thrown to him or something stupid like that. I have to say preseason scares me especially since it seems like EVERY other team in the league can put up points.

sign him...him and chambers and brown are the future of our offense

Chambers was re-signed last year to a 7 year deal. I think we should sign McMike to a reasonable multi-year deal. A deal that makes sense to both parties involved.

Hate to break it to the sign randy fans. He will more than likely be leaving here next year. He wants todd Heap money and Miami is not going to give it to him. I will say this about Randy, He isn''t all that. Sorry. He is a good tight end with some speed. He can't block a lick. and he does have some droppsies to his game. I like him and would hope he can improve and stay with the team but i don't see it. I think Saban brought in all the free agent tight ends this year to see if he could find a diamond in the rough so he could spare McMichael and save a draft pick next year.

pigskinguyI'd say the team does nothing with him untill they find out if he's gonna go to jail for beating his wife.

 Sounds like a plan to me. It seems he not only has spousal problems but his production is slipping as well.

Sign him to a big multiyear deal. And how did he suck last year, wasnt he our leading reciever?!?!?!

He had an excellent 1st half of the season, but played considerably worse the second half. He has had some serious off-field problems, too.
