Did anyone just catch Steve Young and Emmitt Smith on the Monday Countdown. Stuart Scott brought up Pennington's return to New York in week 17 and the only thing both of those guys could do was laugh about it. It was the second time today ive heard someone on espn laugh about that matchup. Please can someone tell me whats so funny about it?

They're idiots who think they know a thing about picking football games just because they won a Superbowl. These so called experts are probably the same ones who picked us to win no more than 4 games at the beginning of the season. They think that because they beat us in Miami, that we have no chance of beating the Jets in what'll likely be a cold weather game. Just ask teams like the Broncos, Niners, Raiders, and Chargers if they thought they didn't have a chance of beating the Jets before their games!

the same reason the only game recap title on espn.com that begins with the losing team is the game the dolphins won. They don't respect the fins there, especially when they are competing against two northeast teams for the playoffs, let alone one with brett favre

I don't think the analysts look at the big picture, they go week to week. If it's good weather New England will have all kinds of problems with Arizona even at home. Of course the Cards are a strange bunch as well. Warner could become a turnover machine. I also don't believe Buffalo will go 0-6 in the division, they will upset either the Jets or Pats. The way NE's defense is playing even the Raiders could have their best offensive game of the season vs them next week. If we just took care of business vs NE or baltimore life woul be sweet.

I can't imagine a jets fan that would think it's funny being tied with the Dolphins at the end of the year. it could very well be a "win or go home" game. if Pennington knocks them out of playoff contention with a team that's supposed to be so inferior in talent, they will never live it down.
