Or....
Resign Yeatman then make him the RT & draft Z Martin for RG instead of Yankey.
Brenner?.....No

Yeatman barely worth a roster spot much less being a starterOr....

I prefer the following:
LT- Either Eugene Monroe or Branden Albert
LG - David Yankey (First Round Stanford)
C - Mike Pouncey
RG - Jerry Asamoah (Free Agent Chiefs)
RT - Antonio Richardson ( Tennessee) or Jack Mewhort (Ohio State) in round 2 or Billy Turner (North Dakota State) in round 3
We should be able to afford those two free agents and still have back up vets should the rookies not be ready to start right away.
So basically you want our first 2 picks to be OL? Not going to happen. Mewhort is a 4th rounder at best, Richardson will be taken in the late 1st-early 2nd, Turner in the 2nd-3rd, and Yankey will be available in the 2nd. Monroe and Albert are going to want big $ imo.
Brenner was a great fill in guy but he is an average backup at best not a starter. Clabo was both a disaster on the field and a misfit for the scheme. People say no to the big money LT but when you have a BIG problem you have to fix it with big money guys.
LT- Albert
LG- Martin
C- Pouncy
RG- Asamoah
RT- Moses or Hurst
Backups
LT- Mickinnie, Thomas
LG- Brenner, Garner
C- Garner
RG- Garner, Brenner
RT- Mckinnie, Thomas
We're not too different...I'd be OK with your RT picks.
I like Yankey over Martin because of atleticism.
Best pulling guard in the country and he is only junior, his sophomore year he replaced Jonathan Martin at LT And only gave up one sack all year.. so he has the true versatility to play LT as well if needed....smash mouth player.
I like Martin...I just think Yankey is better.
I don't think any more OLinemen from Stanford is a good idea either.
