FOX NFL Sunday's Terry Bradshaw on Daunte Culpepper:
"I never was a Culpepper fan because I thought Randy Moss made him the great quarterback that he was in Minnesota. Without Moss, Culpepper is a just a good quarterback."

I have to agree with him here...all Daunte had to do was chuck the ball up in the air and Randy would come down with it. That is why it is imperative that we trade for Randy Moss.
By the way....Bradshaw once said that Dan Marino was the greatest passer he ever witnessed...I have to agree with him on that point as well.
 :D :dolphins:

i really never liked bradshaw at least he agrees with the marino era

He won 4 sb, so what?, it was not with the FINS!! so F **## him. You don't have to agree with whatever he said because of that. If he say that you will go to heaven if you jump from a bridge in Pitt will you agree with that? GO DOLPHINS!! :dolphins:

Man, I'm sorry but statements like this really bother me. You really think that a guy with the stats Daunte had was just throwing hail mary balls up in the air and praying or hoping Randy Moss would always catch it!!! Common... it takes alot of arm strength, coordination, accuracy, etc, etc... to complete long passes in any level of football (from pee-wee league to the NFL). Randy Moss is an incredible wide receiver, but he definitely needs someone to get him that ball fast and accurately. RANDY MOSS IS NOT A ONE MAN MONSTER ON THE FIELD!!! That is very well proven by all the QB's that haven't been able to "chuck the ball up in the air" and he hasn't been able to superfly over to make the catch in Oakland!!!

Yeah 2004 Culpepper 4717 yards passing 39 TD's, Randy Moss 2004 season 767 yards recieving and 13 TD's. I would say Culpepper did a little bit more than just throw the ball up to Moss to get those other 4,000 yards.

Last year and this year he had no oline and the team around him wasn't playing well.

Dude, you are psychotic, take a few Prozacs and chill the "f" out, your euphemisms have nothing to do with football, stick with facts and football and you wont sound so much like a idiot.

That arguemnt kills me too. I'm 100% sure having Moss didn't hurt Daunte but there are way too many holes in the "Moss made Daunte" argument to go along with it. I'm starting to believe that Culpepper escapability and arm strenght coupled with Randy's deep spped were a recipe for success for both players. Think about it, has anyone watched that highlight video of Duante that was on youtube?? Well in most of those highlights Daunte was scrambling for extra time before a WR broke wide open. I think the lack of mobility is the biggest problem. Also my favorite part is that Daunte had his best season when Moss had his worst. In fact Moss had a more productive year in terms of catches and yards last year in Oaktown than he did in 2004 in Minny. How come Collins didn't have an MVP like year???? Also, how come Moss hasn't has the same effect on any of these other QB's?? It just can't be as simple as having Randy Moss as a WR. No QB in the league can just "chuck it up", it just doesn't work. If Moss was truly that good he would have the same effect on any QB he's played with.

Do you think he just forgot how to play football? Or could it be the injury this year, and maybe the new system last year? I dont think somebody just forgets how to play the game. That is like Peyton Manning having a bad year and the Colts wanting to trade him because "man he didn't throw 40 TD's this year, he must have forget how to be a QB."

You might think this, but I think that you have to look at the factors surrounding the player.

Terry Bradshaw knows football....it's seriously time for Saban to consider Harrington or Cleo Lemon if the dolphins want to stay competitive.

The fact could very well be that he has diminishing skills...look at Kurt Warner, he played great at one time....look at him now. Brett Favre is on the decline, sure age has something to do with it, but some QB's can lose it in a hurry. How about Ben Roethlisberger, he hasn't played very good so far has he?

This coming from a guy who isn't partial to Culpepper or Harrington, he can see clearly, you Daunte supporters are looking through rose colored glasses.
Instead of Daunte's Supporters....I think we'll call you....Daunte's Denial Boys.
