I don't know if you're trolling, but I've wanted both of those coaches at various times over the past 15 years. But then again, I also thought that we should have hired Marty Schottenheimer in 2008. :idk:

Marty Ball is the ticket.

I have seriously been on the hire Marty bandwagon a couple of times post Shula.

so we have Hayden chalked up Ross's fault. jiffy wanted the other guy.

If you believe that narrative, then Ross needs to let his football people make football decisions.

If Ross kept Joe on this season out of spite, that is on Ross.

However, I think Ross is showing progress. Tom Garfinkel I think gets it and has done a nice job on the business end, yet understanding it is about football…good hire. Plus, if Dan Marino can have some say in the direction of the franchise in the future Ross will gain credibility locally and in the league.

The team is just desperate. Already talking QB change in Week 3. Defense questioning Coyle. Philbin coaching scared. Miami re-sigining their cut scrubs like they're going to be good all of a sudden. Philbin basically admitted they don't do the no huddle offense more often because they don't have confidence in the offense to execute it therefore putting the defense at risk. So 3 years in and Philbin still doesn't have the guys he needs to run his offense with confidence. smh

The players are allegedly professionals (& making ridiculous amts of $); they should not need motivation.

You know, South Florida is pretty well known as a retirement destination. It was the bullseye on my target when I was planning my last move in the military.

I sure don't like that our team plays poorly, but I understand it.
