well we suck once agian so lets go ahead and talk about the boat load of money we will have to spend next year, it makes me feel better! this is what i would like to see happen.

I would like to see us sign reggie wayne and nate clements, and we need to draft that corner from virgina tech williams? and pick up a qb like hackney or cutler in the 2nd or 3rd round.

is there any other fa you think we could pick up? how much would we save by cutting booker, madison and seau if he retires? we could be looking at 30-35mill

We need a damn QB. This is just getting stupid already. DRAFT or SIGN a franchise QB.....please!!! From there, I dont care what happens, but we need a franchise QB.

We got to spend alot of that money on a QB that is a true leader and that can throw the ball where it needs to be. OL is nothing hole that we got to spend some good money one aswell. The rest can be some key backup players that we will need.

Gotta go O line with that money. That's the biggest weakness on the team. You don't draft Ronnie Brown, pay him all that money, and then provide him with no blocking. Look what the Chiefs did to us last night with a dominant O line.

i am all for trading our #1 for rivers if its not a top 3 pick
I'm down with you bro. I want Rivers too, but a top 5 or even top 10 may be too much, because you know they are gonna want multiple picks, and/or a player...

From what I have seen, our O-line is bad but not nearly as bad as our quarterback. We not only need to bite the bullet and spend a high pick on a long-term solution at QB but we need to sign a short term solution as well. Someone who is proven but not financially crippling, like a Kitna or Dilfer. Frerotte is just not the answer at all. In addition, we need a couple of linemen for both sides of the ball and desperately need some defensive backs. Mario Edwards and Reggie Howard have GOT to go...NOW! Ricky needs to be traded unless we see a lot of change in the way he is utilized. Our running game is far worse now than before he came back. In my opinion, he is just delaying the progress of Ronnie. We need as many picks in this coming draft as we can possibly aquire and need to spend our money wisely in free agency. I now see that it is going to take a few years despite my initial optimism after the first few games this year that we had turned the corner. I still have total faith in Saban but even he can't make chicken salad out of chicken poop.

Jimmy Williams from VTECH would be pretty sweet. One of my suitemate is a huge Hokies fan, says Williams will be very good in the NFL.

Here is a snippet of info:

Jimmy Williams, cornerback, Virginia Tech: Converted safety already has developed into a lockdown corner the past two seasons. Good size, decent speed and the kind of football I.Q. that NFL scouts love.

Sounds Saban-esque to me!

Has good size too, 6-3, 206-pounds.

"A lot of people thought I was gonna leave, but I had a change of heart, and I wanted to come back to perfect my craft playing defensive back," said Virginia Tech Cornerback Jimmy Williams. "Right now, it's going well."

We need a Qb first..someone home grown. Then I would spend some money on the line...offense as well as defense, and I know I will probably will get some heat for this....a speedy WR.

Franchise QB and a LT and some corners couldnt hurt

this is about all we need........ Well instead of just a LT, you should have said......OL cuz we need more than just a LT on this O-line

I don't know about Reggie Wayne but am all for signing Clements.

Drafting Willams (CB Va Tech) is fine by me. They were saying on this past Thursday's game that he might play safety at the next level.

The QB's that have impressed me are; Basanez (Northwestern), Jordan Palmer (Carson's bro @ UTEP), & Reggie McNeal (Texas A & M).

I still a center is a priority; Marvin Phillip at Cal, Eslinger at Minnesota, or Raiola at Wisconsin probably will be the top 3.

As far as Madison, I'd say trade him to the Rams who have secondary issues. Sam would be an upgrade for them and could hopefully get a 3rd rounder for him
