Feeley has proved nothing on the field so far other than he looks like he was not worth the pick we gave up for him.

We would not get much for him in a trade.

IMO he needs to get some more playing time to prove his worth.A rookie QB is not going to be ready anyway.

If Feeley plays at a decent level then we may find ourself in a situation similar to the Chargers situation where we have two QBs which are marketable.

cut him. No one would offer a 7th rnder for him. Frerotte would be the one teaching Alex Smith, hes the old vet, with more talent, and experience.

1st round QB's fail 70% of the time. And most of those were more highly rated than Smith. So, you have to keep Feeley around, because there's an excellent chance that he'll be a better option than Smith.

why not cut ferrotte and keep feeley as the bkup, could go either way

ferotte would be a good use to teaching the rookie,better then feely who would want the starting job
