what do we do regarding parker? he is worth way more to us when he actually plays that his contract calls for. He is always banged up. if we cut him, we have a dead cap hit. we cant get someone better for the price. it is a no win situation.

Even though this ground has already been thoroughly covered, I'll play.

The cap hit is so minor next year, that it doesn't factor in whatsoever. Yes it's not optimum, but every team takes hits that are far worse in the interests of the team as a whole.

It really comes down to him not being dependable. It isn't even a case where a lighter work load would diminish the injuries. The guy gets hurt on his way to the locker room.

I like DVP too. He never stole a freight train, but at this point, giving him a roster spot, and taking reps from a developing younger player is detrimental in the long run.

There is not much argument that he is a playmaker when he is out there. The lack of dependability hurts the entire offense get in any consistent rhythm week in and week out. IF he could be a 4th or 5th receiver used in the red zone and not a major part of the offensive game plan it could work. Really don't believe he can overcome the chronic hamstring and lower extremity injuries.

Parker? What kind of question is this? Have you not seen enough? Or in this case….not enough?

Parker makes around 7 mil if I’m not mistaken. That’s 3rd wr money. At that price Just keep him and hope for a good yr like he had in a couple years ago
Why? How many years to keep waiting on him to stay healthy and play good? Been burned 2 years in a row doing this. Just get rid of him and find a cheaper rookie.

Sure that’s fine too. I really don’t care much what we do with him. The problem is that we have to keep some players. It will be impossible to get 4 new WRs, 4 new starting Olineman and a starting RB. You can thank Grier for setting this offense Back for the last 3 years. We literally have nothing on O outside of Geiseki who might be a FA at the end of the yr
