So what type of offence do you think we’ll run next season?

Surely our FA singing and draft picks give us an indication?

Will it be similar to what Godsey ran in Houston? Or will it be totally different? Will Studsville employ the same running game or a new one?

Hard to say with much specificity.

We, apparently, brought in a QB coach with a background in presnap motion.

I expect RPO concepts will be run off those reads. Not only because Tua's "forte" is reads, and decision making, but also because it really puts the defense in a bind, forcing commit.

The downside of that, in so much that it is, is that RPO is really only a situational answer, in that it doesn't lend itself to pushing the ball downfield.

I also expect more emphasis on a power run game, given the type of linemen we drafted last year.

With CO-OCs, and Flo's philosophy of being "multiple" in attacking an opponent, it will likely change week to week, depending on who we are facing.

An offense that is built around Tua and his strengths and not Fitzpatrick's. Not knocking Fitz at all here. But it was very apparent the offense we ran in 2020 was catered to Fitzy and not Tua.

Pre snap motion just makes for easy coverage reads for the qb and to get guys off coverage

something any young qb should have as a staple of the offense pretty much til they prove that their non motion based coverage reads or ids are a strength

it’s easier to hide those weaknesses if you aren’t chasing the sticks/scoreboard

scoreboard cause when you are chasing it you don’t want to burn clock waiting for motion etc at tbe los pre snap. You want to line up and go

Hopefully one without fitz in it...

start there 🙏
Wow man. We all know how you feel, and why.

At this point, it seems Fitz is living rent free in your brain.

It's OK though. Sometimes I am obsessively consumed with non issues too........lol.

if you leave open tbe possibility for them to run a fitz based offense they damn sure might.

I don’t know how anyone can look at 2020s concepts and say anything different

it’s got to exit the building. Take away even the chance

You aren't wrong, but I would say when used effectively, it can also be used to influence, as well.

I think it can be taken to a different level when the coaches have all the players on the same page.

those concepts were all about fitz in 2020z as crazy as that sounds despite a top 5 pick in tbe building. We built it for a 37 year old jag

as for pre snap motion that’s the primary usage coverage ids and to get guys off coverage/outflank

When you say influence you are talking about false steps to create natural lanes be it or run or pass game. Most that motion though comes across the formation and usually employs outflank speed element. Or it should by and large

we call it eye candy and bait
