What was our defenive coordinator thinking when the Cardinals scored their first TD?

Putting Akin Ayodele on Boldin one on one with no safety help????? Were we caught with our pants down? Were we just not ready for the play? Moreso after 2 cardinal penalties and it was 1st and 20 for them and no safety help? Someone please explain.

Where did the breakdown happen??? Was that Akin Ayodele's assignment??


That was awful and fairly easy for the Cards. Did our Defensive coordinator actually think Akin could cover Boldin?

I am pretty sure it was a breakdown. Pasqualoni would not be allowed to catch high school if he put a big linebacker on a quick receiver.

Breakdown or not our DBs can't keep up with the Cards WRs. So I don't think it would of made any difference.

It may not have, but with 1st & 20 you can at least play someone deep.

It looked like we were playing a one deep safety and he went to the other side of the field. Surprise, I think it was Crocker.

There was a safety blitz on that play. Bolden merely ran the fly seam right up where the blitzing safety would've been

I'm not certain, but it looked like there was to be Safety help on the play but Crocker bit and left him wide open.
