That didn’t win a SB or you guys though was capable of winning a SB?
It was my favorite season too but the problem with that team was that defense was really starting to slip. They had no chance against Bill Walsh's offense and Joe Montana.1984 was by far the funnest for me. Marino was God-like throwing the football.
Sometimes it is unlucky to have to go up against a team as good as the 49ers were that year.
The Dolphins also had no idea how to adjust when Walsh played 7 DBs and the OL still couldn’t stop the 49ers pass rush.It was my favorite season too but the problem with that team was that defense was really starting to slip. They had no chance against Bill Walsh's offense and Joe Montana.
Definitely 1974That didn’t win a SB or you guys though was capable of winning a SB?
1982 was a great season- that was the snow plow game year, right? Other than that...The 82 team was a favorite of mine ..should have won it that year.Solid defensive team that would start to get old before Marino shows up.Those few years before Dan ,was some of Dons best coaching.....I loved the Killer B’s.
I think we would have beaten them as we matched up great and Shula > Ditka and Marino > McMahon. But the ‘85 team had flaws on D. The ‘74 team was great all around and the ‘84 team, while fielding a defense that faded down the stretch of the season still would have beaten most SB winners from that era. IMO that SF team was the 2nd best single season team in history after the ‘72 fins. And the only reason the fins get the nod is they were perfect.Yes 1974 would of been brilliant to get 3 in a row
Pity about the shocking game the Fins played against the Pats. Always wondered if they could of beaten the Bears twice in 85.
