What was the worst play call of the year?

I know theyr'e are many but I'm going to start out with that time out against the Saints in the final seconds of the first half. Instead of trying to freeze the Saints kicker from "twenty yards" the Saints change thier minds and go for it. Which of course resulted in a touchdown.:lol:
 
Don't get me started lol.

There's so many of them.
 
1.) Ricky throwing the ball in the end zone in the Bills game.
2.) Going for a FG in Colts game on 3rd and 6.
3.) Calling a TO to give the Saints time to discuss what they are going to do. They then get a TD instead of a FG changing the entire momentum of the game.
4.) Not covering TE's at all.
5.) Covering quick WR's with old LB's.
6.) Not throwing deep to Ginn or to anyone.
7.) Using Bess as a KR.
8.) Never calling shotgun packages. Training wheels on Henne for far to long.
9.) Prevent D in 4th Q.
10.) Bess end around.

To name a few...
 
Ricky's had me heated too. It was very Henning like to try and trick the Bills when we were running up thier thoats on that first drive.
 
I still hate that stupid reverse wildcat play in the first Pats game where Henne was tackled for like a 17 yard loss.

Sparano said they called a timeout b/c they didn't have the right lineup on the field, it had jack to do with freezing the kicker.
 
Anytime we ran out of the 1WR, 2TE set in a hurry up offense! Resulted in sacks, fumbles, negative yardage and INTs!

Do you really think that their kicker would of missed a chipshot either way? That's the point. Let them have their 3 points and still be down, don't let them realize that they were good on short distance and go for the 7. Did we even block any FG's this year?

ive watched every single dolphin game over the past 11 years, and the only blocked anything i can remember was last year vs the jets in the finale.

i may have forgotten some, but i doubt it. bottom line is we dont block any kicks ever, so we werent going to block that fg whether we had the right personelle or not.
 
Not the worst call but the funnest call...
Sparano tried to call TO after an interception and change of procession. Becoming the laughing stock of entire league.

nah im just kidding, all jokes aside id have to say...the ricky pass on the goal line. That was just pure insanity. Also the TO against the Saints was pretty bad too.

well we didnt technically, but we ran the ball and were content with getting a fg rather than try for a first down and a td.
