Where is the reset button?
I know it may be a minor thing because IIRC it just has reared its ugly head in this game, BUT this is not the time we want to have our long snapper thinking twice about his snaps before doing them. I have seen this in the NFL with other teams and it has cost them the game. I hope it was just something with the balls.
That alone could have been disasterous had the jets got that ball and ran it back for 7 ( they eventually scored anyway) because those kinds of scores are like the one merling had earlier in the game. Momentum killers big time.
That being said, Sparano was going to have nothing of it. He looked at him or the ST coach and put up a "twice" sign and was yelling at him.
Something tells me denney is going to get a serious workout this week. We can't have those kind of mental breakdowns.
