Fine.... your hurt, but show some support for your team. You guys win, your in the SuperBowl!!!!!! I must say I have a lot of respect for that guy, but I lost some on Sunday. That was "I" before "we" if I've ever seen it. :shakeno:

yeh and the crazy thing is that Rivers played with a torn ACL and LT has a sprained knee and just sat out practically the entire game.

i know man. i love lt as a player theres no running back better than him but what he did this weekend i dunno man. its wierd. theres got to be more to the entire thing. do u really think LT would do that or do u think it was Norv's decision? were they trying to save him for next season? but if that was the case then thats stupid. they were one game from the superbowl you play in these games ignoring injuries and playing your heart out.

and wore his helmet the whole game and never got up off the bench. what a punk!

you're kidding, right? "and wore his helmet the whole game" is your big critisism?? He never got up off the bench?? so what!! was his cheering going to make the difference?

He went out there and gave it a go....an injury is an injury. who are we to judge how bad the injury was? how much pain he was in? or how the injury inhibitted him doing the things he needed to do help his team win (no I'm not talking about cheerleading)

I swear, people can find the oddest crap to complain about.

 I agree

Perhaps I'm wrong but it kind of gave the impression that LT felt if he wasn't playing there was no way the chargers could win the game. No need to stand up and coach his teammates on so he just sat there.
It certainly didn't leave an impression to me that LT was a team kind of guy.

look he put himself in this position of criticisim. He could have shut his mouth prior to the game instead of goin out and saying he is 90% and that he would play. He OBVIOUSLY wasnt in that much pain since he was "90%".Phillip had a worse injury and he played. You dont think Phillip was in more pain then LT? He had arthroscopic knee surgery a week prior to the game so he could play and now he has to have a second surgery on from what i understand is his torn acl. The man gave his best on ONE leg (phillip) and LT *****ed out with only two drives of play and then watching the rest of the game. What bothers me even more is that he was NOT even on the injury report list on Friday. I respect LT and admire him for his work ethic and class but that was really dissapointing in him. I have a lot of respect for rivers after that game. He didnt let his teammates down. He looked at it as we come in together and we leave together on all circumstances.

that's what I'm thinking....
I think he was very concerned about his career when he made that choice.
I know the guy has heart, and he hasn't missed a single game in 7 years until
this one, but be a good teammate. That was total horse shat!

I'm not even going to respond to your comment. obviously you missed the point.

Marcus McNeil said:
"L.T. is a competitor and if there was any way he could've been out there with us, he would have been," left tackle Marcus McNeill said. "For anybody to criticize him is disappointing to hear."

I'll take his opinion over the ones here any day.

Here's what LT had to say about not playing longer...

"It's obvious that I couldn't play. If I could have played, I would have been in there.''
"It was just the impact of getting hit that first play, right on it,'' Tomlinson said. "I thought that would be the test, taking a hit on it. I don't know how I get direct hits on it ... it's just been two bad weeks for me. I usually don't take shots like that. It just happened.''

Norv Turners comments...
"LT tried to go and he just couldn't go,'' Turner said. "The pain in the knee, what he felt, he couldn't push off it and he couldn't go. ... The doctors and trainers said he couldn't go.''

The guy had a sprained MCL. I know Rivers played with injury but they have totally different situations. LT's whole game relies on his legs. Rivers may've been hurt but his arm was fine. Whats the point of risking a more severe injury to LT when he is nowhere near 100%? It's also not like Michael Turner is some scrub.

I hate to say I told you so, but...

LaDainian Tomlinson had an additional MRI on his left knee Tuesday that revealed his playing even just four snaps in the AFC Championship Game further damaged it.
He will require additional time for his sprained medial collateral ligament to heal, though he said surgery is still not required.
Tomlinson also said yesterday he will not play in next week's Pro Bowl, his first definitive statement that his knee injury will keep him from making his fifth appearance in the NFL's all-star game.
