is a playmaking reciever. someone who you notice works hard every play and who wants the ball, every single play. not just when their number gets called they work, and half asz it every other down.
as much as i love chambers he is not a dominant reciever. booker is definately not a playmaker. welker has been our best reciever so far. chrs has all t he talent in the world, but he gives up on plays, drops too many big passes, and is taken out of the game when double teamed. i know this is not a popular opinion, but someone like jerry porter would really help get this team some points. hes fast and we need a deep threat. booker is no way a deep threat. chambers is my guy, but porter would come in here and take the opportunty to outplay chambers and get his stock up. booker is noticeably more than happy being a no.2 reciever. thats not good, every reciever should want to be the best on the field

Porter for the right price would be fine. Its not so much that Chambers isnt doing the job its simply that he's our only threat (although Welker is an interesting weapon). I think Porter as the number 2 wr with booker as number 3 would be a nice combo

Our recievers are fine, get someone to throw to them first. Then start rating them.

Although Porter would upgrade us, I agree - the receivers aint the problem. The playcallin, the QB and the oline need to elevate their games

Chambers is fine. What we need is a QB that can get him the ball.

i agree.... Chambers is an awesome receiver, but his no Game changer. he doesnt take the game into his hands and makes things happen. Lord what Id do fora Steve Smith type player... who just makes plays

Oh come on, Chambers was an ALL PRO last year and now we have no recievers?? Give me a break, quit making excuses for Culpepper. The biggest problem on this team wears #8, he's been horrible, and if it is because he's still not healthy then he shouldn't be playing. He can say he is fine all he wants, history shows it was unrealistic to expect him to be ready so soon, and that has proven true. And if there are issues with him more than just the knee, we are in big trouble.

Ted Ginn Jr!!!

When he can run routes other than posts and flys, then I'll be interested in him being more than a #3 in the NFL.

I'd say Culpepper has been bad and dissappointing to this point, but horrible is a word I currently have reserved for Aaron Brooks(who has had 0 time to throw).

we gave up a 2 for CPEP the same as feely. linehan left. gus went with him (after the fins wouldn't meet gus's salary demands... nobody else did) we were desperate for QB. Given CPEP's injury and the overall quality of the offense, I think he's still worth more than AJ.

Chambers made a spectacular catch at the end of the game.....where was he all game long. We need WR help.....Booker is so overated on this site.

Wrong, while Culpepper certainly is showing rust, the number one problem with this team is the O-line and its inability to pass block, Culpepper has had little time to throw, and the run blocking has been awful as well.
