"Hi, Peter Griffin here"....Today we're gonna start a new forum series entitled "What went wrong"
First and foremost play calling was once against questionable.
-McKinnie was doing work on that left side and got NUMEROUS bug runs for Miller. Running right seemed like a huge waste of time.
-3rd and 2 pass to Sims. Could've easily did a running play to the left for an easy first down.
Questionable Coaching:
-Philbin not challenging the catch on the left side (which was clearly in). Gave up on that drive.
-Couldn't seal the deal after half time. Let them get comfortable
O-Line Play
-For the 3rd week in a row a crucial sack came from the right side as the game was winding down.
-Sack also came on another FG (that one that turned the game around)
Mike Wallace:
-Too many dropped pas---see what I did there?
-Way too inconsistent. Never comes back to the ball.
-The dropped pass that lead to the missed FG was HUGE.
Tannehill:
-Still too careless with the ball after starting the season strong. That INT down the right sideline into double coverage was ridiculous.
-He apparently has the arm strength...I'm not seeing it. Just lobs it up there constantly.
Patterson Injury:
-Goes out for one play and Tom Brady/ Dobson make Carrol look like a high schooler.
Reffing:
-My God....Do I have to say anymore? The Vernon attempt at a fumble recovery.
-That Patterson "holding call"? Dobson fell down.
