Miami loses opening day @ Washington?

Will the sky be falling, fans will want Philbin's head on a stake?

Move on to Jacksonville and get a conference win on the road against the Jags.

We should win...point blank...we are the better team...they dont have the horses to exploit our weakness which right now appears to be interior oline

Although i have seen this defense make garbage qbs look like all pros...im thinking suh though can wreck things enough where we wont make rg3 look all world

If we can't beat them I don't see how we can be viewed as a playoff caliber team. They're already weak defensively and now Breeland is out game 1. The O should put up 30+ on that team.

You never know how things are going to work out. Last preseason when Miami lost to Dallas everyone was in an up roar saying how can you lose to a team that bad and the Cowboys were going nowhere with one of the worse defenses in the league.

Well I hope this lies true or week 1. Stuff the run and leave it up to RG3 to beat us. I see an easy win week 1.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported on NFL Network's Total Access Saturday night that the Redskins plan to run the ball a lot more than 2014.

"(RGIII) is still the face of the franchise," Rapoport said, "but as far as the actual plays they will call, my understanding is the Redskins are going to want to pound it and run the ball a lot more than they ever did, especially since they drafted physical running back Matt Jones.

"They see him as the kind of guy who will pound it at a defense late, especially when they still have the lead. No, he's not the bell cow yet -- it's still going to be Alfred Morris -- but at this point what the Redskins hope is to be a tough, physical running team and make plays in the passing game just when they need to on third down and in the red zone."

Washington rushed the ball 401 times in 2014 -- including quarterback and receiver runs -- 21st in the NFL. They handed the ball off to backs 333 times.
The news that the Redskins plan to run the ball more is surely a welcome note for 'Skins fans after watching their struggling quarterback situation implode time and time again in 2014.

Handing the ball off more can only be a good thing for RGIII.

Our entire OL seems to be the weakness right now. They added Terrance Knighton and Stephen Paea through free agency to go along with recently signed Junior Gallette.
Paea, Knighton, Hatcher in the interior with Kerrigan and Gallette coming of the edge? Won't be as easy you think.

Sounds like read option and downhill running...suh will murder read option inside hand off between the tackles and run down perimeter runs but id expect a lot of base lb looks from miami unless we can get by with 2 lbs and walk up box safety...base lb is very susceptible to pa as it stands..

Id be worried about fox at left tackle also but i dont think washington has the kind of talent to really expose our oline...we could always roll protections if fox is getting murdered likely by kerrigan

I just dont see them being able to exploit us...theres only one type of game rg3 can play...a loss there would be entirely on the staff and gameplan

I think james can handle gallette...pot roast will be tough but thats vs the run and 2 downs...hatcher has been miscast since he joined Washington

Never underestimate Coyle's ability to tilt matchups out of our favor, no this offense to move itself backwards out of redzone.
