what will it cost us to move to no2?

That would be a nice trade, but pretty sure it's not enough. Will cost us big to move to #2

I'm not sure I would give up all that I suggested to get RG3, but I don't think I'd hate it if they did. At least they went for it finally and got a QB they wanted with 1st round talent. Tired of the play it safe mentality.

to much imo. maybe if luck we there iwould give up a good bit. rg3 i would give up this years 1st, 3rd, and next years 2nd and 5th.

Wow? That much?

That would get you from 8th alllllll the way up to 5th lol

Answer to the OP, if it involves moving up any higher than 5th, we give up waaaaayyyyy too much.

That sounds fair. I WOULD NOT GIVE UP MORE THAN THAT. I would like this years 1st, next years 2nd, and Brandon Marshall.

Yeah, stick with Moore or Henne. They'll get us 7-9 wins next year and we can hold onto the picks. Then with the 15th pick in the 2013 draft we should be able to pick up a top tier QB. We know how they always fall to the middle of the first. No doubt Barkley will be there.

I said it once and say it again. We were a team poorly coached again this year and should of easily been 9-7.

Add Blackmon, Fleener and a O lineman along with a good coach we are 11-5 12-4 team even with Moore or Henne!

I was sort of with you, up until you mentioned Henne.

The fins are better off taking bpa, hopefully Blackmon, and bringing in competition for Moore. Fill other holes in free agency and other draft picks.

The only way Justin Blackmon is available at pick 8 or 9 is if he
does the combine interviews drinking a colt 45 and smoking a joint

Way too much to give up on a talented quarterback who is rated 1 or 2 depending which scouts/experts you talk to? HELL NO.

Robert Griffin has potential to be every bit as good or better than Luck. He is more of a project though but heck, you take the chance. How many of you all (and myself) thought that Newton would be Jamarcus Russell? 90% of us did. Boy were we wrong about that.

Move up the draft, trade Long, two first round picks and a 2nd if you have to. Our team is almost there, we just need a quarterback, and a guy with Griffin's intelligence, mobility, athleticism, and accuracy can be the one who takes us over the top. Griffin's mobility alone will make up for the loss of a pro bowl LT. We don't even need a pro bowl RT and we can find a decent replacement in free agency.

If you can assume 3 rookies and a new unknown coach will have that much if an impact, why can't I assume rg3 will be an elite franchise qb?

I have to imagine that Ross would rather go with whatever option will put more coin in his pocket. Having said that, I believe he's gonna push for a flashy superstar QB AKA RGIII.

we need to take risks for once and stop going with the SAFE player. I hope we do trade for RGIII who will bring something to celebrate for the fans. i wonder if the rams would be interested in soliai

No, we want them to accept the deal =)

I Imagine at least:

2012 1st round
2012 2nd round
2013 1st round
2013 2nd round
Maybe even a 3rd
do you work for the Rams?

so you guys complaining about a player whose 4 inches taller / smarter / faster then michael vick? i would trade the whole draft if he turns out better then michael vick for us.

Fisher would be smart to trade for more picks, they need help everywhere and that would be a good start for them. I just don't want to give up too much to move up. If your a RG3 lover you better hope Cleveland gets Flynn and Washington falls for some other QB because those two teams could really drive up the price.
