What will it take to sign QB Flynn?

5 years 35 million. Back loaded to help the cap number. Just a quess.

I'm just guessing. Big paul got 6 mil a year as a 3 down nose tackle so 7 mil for a QB is reasonable.

ha ha...that number of yours for flynn is on the uptick i see...doesn't really matter for us what the average per year is its what the guaranteed money is and how its laid out...thats what can and will effect our cap going forward...whatever the contract is though if he becomes a franchise caliber qb for you it will be peanuts...even if its kolb money...peanuts...

The market for him is just us and Seattle...

That alone should cut a huge chunk...

I'd give him 6 years 41 million with incentives...Like 12 guaranteed. Make the contract so that if he becomes good, he can be rewarded mid way through but if he is terrible we can cut our losses without great pain.

If he wants Kolb type money (6 years 61 million with 21 guaranteed) no thanks..

Seattle, like us, is desperate for a QB...THey have around $30 million free 3 days ago....Don't know what moves they made...So they could offer more money...

Yea , I don't think they let him leave without a contract so they sweeten the guaranted money.
Hope he's the guy. Why mince over a few million.

well if it comes down to a bidding war with Seattle then we are in for a show. Their owner and Ross are the 2 richest owners if I recall correctly

Hopefully having Philbin gives us an edge
