When you think of the Miami Dolphins, who do you think of first?

A-Don Shula(coached the dolphins for 25 years)

B-71-72 Perfect Season

C-Jason Taylor

D-Zach Thomas

E-Dan Marino

F-Most diappointing(of recent) teams that were known for sucess

G-Nice Jerseys

E - Dan Marino

I just feel lucky I was able to see him play from his rookie year until his retirement.

E. Dan Marino

He was a big reason I became (and stayed) a Dolphins fan. I'm 22, so I was very young during his prime years. My father was a big Dolphins fan since the 70's, and most people up here in Oregon aren't Dolphins fans, but watching Dan play was something else so I stayed with them as I got older, even when my dad recently made the disgustingly horrifying decision to become a Pats fan. My dad raised me as a phins fan, but Dan made me stay a phins fan forever.

Yea Marino is the face of this franchise bar none

Dan Marino: 0 Super Bowl Titles.

Seriously, it bothers me.

simiple!

None of the above. I think of all the beers drank and the monday mornings where I could not speak. The TV that exploded upon impact with the skillet in the final moments of the 2003 Phins-Pats game. The awesome moments; key interceptions and overtime fieldgoals, Frerotte to Chambers 12 yard TD completion to complete the comeback over the Bills.

For the purpose of the thread, D. Zach has been responsible for a resounding number of those great moments.

Practically unbeatable in September and October.

One of the strongest home field advantages in the NFL.

first thing I remember is that the perfect season was in 72-73...not 71-72
then I think of Shula and his great teams including Marino.

Ozzy rules!!
the old days at the orangebowl and knowing that we always had a chance with Marino
