So we are going to NY to face the J-E-S-T for the division title, 1 year after being 1-15. What a story, what a season. Theres stories all over the place, whether Favre is playing his last game, Penny going back to NY after being released, Penny playing against a QB that is going to the pro bowl dispite putting up worse numbers, etc.

But my main factor in this game, is also my main concern. Because with Favre, we all know he throws INTs like their going out of style. Problem is, the #1 reason he does this?

Pressure.

You can equate some of the lack of pressure yesterday on the fact that the Cheifs run a spread offense with quick passes, making it difficult to get to the QB without blanket coverage. But we still should have been able to get pressure on the QB.

A lot of people on this site overrate sacks and under rate pressure and hits on the QB. Sacks are great and puts the offense in a bad situation being that they lost yards, but if you sack the QB once and the rest of the game you get dominated and get zero pressure, your not doing a very good job.

If we dont get pressure on Favre, hes likely to carve our secondary up. We might not getting any sacks in this game, because Favre knows how to elude pressure and get rid of the ball before he takes a sack, but the pressure will force him into dumb throws.

So heres to Joey, Charlie and the rest of the squad we are going to come on blitzes having not a big game in sense of numbers wise, but truely an impact wise.

PRESSURE PRESSURE PRESSURE!

LETS WIN THE DIVISION!!!!!

I think we are going to have an amazzing game plan and get lots of pressure and INT's. Thomas Jones will have a big game but Favre IMO will blow it. Final

Dolphins- 31
Jets- 21

Maybe it's good we aren't the flex game. Even if the Jets have nothing to play for, it might well be Favre's last game and with a national audience he could become the Favre of Old (instead of just the Old Favre we saw the last few weeks) one last time, for his farewell performance.

He could do that anyway, I guess. But I'm hoping he doesn't.
