i dont want him, i dont like him. the reason that many teams dont want him is that the money issue. we have too much money we need to spend some. we could cut one mccown and use him as a vet stopgap while henne developts. especialy if beck looks terrible, and we can find that he isnt the answer. just wondering what he would cost. i dont want him however.
 
Too much. I'd rather not give up draft picks or any of our young talent for a QB that is going to play in the league for no more than another two years. It would basically be revering the JT trade...
 
a first round pick and at least 10 million a year... too much for me to give up
 
I'll pass on Bretta.. we just got rid of an attention whore/drama queen who we were disappointed in discovering didn't put the team first. Do you think BP's a glutton for punishment?
 
let me jump in here and say I would bring him in here if and i do mean if we had a dominating wr but it looks like its our wrs that is causing some our qb woes. I think we need a bigtime wr more then we do a qb but this is my opinion . I woulndt mind bringing him in here but i think a roy Williams or chad Johnson would benefits more then Farve.
 
he wouldn't come here. not a chance. he wants to stay in GB. if not, he wants to play against GB. gotta love his competitiveness.
 
i would take him in a heartbeat.... i agree i do not believe he would come here, but we still do not have a starting quality quarterback. we desperately need a veteran quaterback to bring up the young guys we have(maybe keep him for more than a season... that would be nice). he would also draw some fans to the stadium more importantly... i dont know how many of you have been to a fins game lately, but there are more people on the field than in the stands.

in a footnote, i cant believe he is even considering tampa bay. tampa does not offer him a chance to goto the superbowl IMO.

at least we have a rediculous duo with ronne and ricky. it will be the r & r show this year.
 
The problem with Favre is, assuming you still believe that he 'is' Brett Favre' - since GB obviously doesn't .... is that you are right back at this point in a maximum of 2 summers from now.

We won't go to the playoffs this year ... so why bother ... IF Henne or Beck are the long term solution --- then lets just get on with it.

I think he got/is close to being traded to Tampa Bay anyway.

which above stat is blowing your mind to create a thread like this ,maybe his over time first pass to interception maybe.
