What would it amount to if Tua could throw with either hand? Or if the Dolphins held rights to Rosen, Tua, and Lawrence?

The Dolphins could be in uncharted waters. Waters that might force something like a "lottery system" on NFL teams.

Assume for one minute that Rosen ends up looking like a franchise QB yet we still end up with the top pick next year (this seems reasonably possible). Then assume Tua, no longer under daddy's thumb, can throw equally well with left or right hand (not out of reason for a right hand dominate person). Assume that despite Rosen and Tua both looking like franchise QB's our record is still bad enough to land Lawrence the following year (okay this is really stretching reality).

In terms of money, for a year or two, we could potentially have three promising franchise QB's under contract for nearly going rate of one franchise QB. What would it mean if we could successfully have a "QB by committee" like the league now has RB's "by committee"? What would it mean if your franchise QB could throw equally well with either hand?

These questions seem absurdly impossible, and downright foolhardy to consider if even possible, yet it is conceivable for us assuming we don't have to trade up to make it happen.

Clearly this is nothing other than a mental exercise and highly unlikely. But still it might be possible.

Giving y'all a second chance to rip me:)

In my defense I can say such questions can only take place when you were mowed down by a drunk driver while mowing your lawn, are still taking narcotics some nights, and suffering from insomnia. All of which is, sadly, the honest truth.

Pardon my ignorance, but what does Tua being able to throw with either hand have to do with drafting Lawrence and keeping Rosen, and the NFL implementing a draft lottery system?

I think I understand that the rest of the league may not be happy with a team hording high pick QBs, but the throwing with both hands thing has stumped me.

If somehow Miami were to get the #1 overall pick in both 2020 and 2021 and both Tua and Lawrence declared, I'd imagine Miami would get an enormous bounty of offers for either player. The packages being offered would easily trump the Tunsil deal. Miami would be able to set up its franchise for about 15 years or so. I'd imagine a minimum of 3- 4 1st round draft picks, to start. But would the fans and league cry foul again and claim Miami is deliberately screwing up to hoard picks? Or claim it's not fair. Some sort of bull crap would come out of it.

Ever wish you could take your post back:)

Oh well, thought it might be interesting to discuss what it could mean for an NFL QB to throw well with either hand. Seems to be of importance for pitchers and batters.

I wish Miami could tank for 2 seasons. Just 2 years of hell could set Miami up for over a decade.
