If Players Like Jason Allen Wilford and Beck wre to stay with the team and sit the bench and suck it up at high salaries



OR


If we got rid of them and they went on to different teams and just tore it up


THOUGHTS
 
once a player leaves the dolphins i wish him the best. even if he did go to a team and did well wouldn't bother me... he just fits that system better than the system in miami.. so if he was still a fin... he'll be sitting on is butt anyway........
 
-Beck is only slated to make $619,000 with his prorated signing bonus of $100,000
The other dudes are 2.5-3 million this year.
It's kind of funny though. I read a lot of posts saying we are paying Beck a lot of money to be the 3rd string QB, but we aren't. It would be just as expensive, if not more so to replace him.
 
I have a tough time imagining any of those guys going to another team and "tearing it up". Wilford was never anything special before he came to Miami.

If the lightbulb didn't click on for Jason Allen in Todd Bowles' player-friendly scheme, I don't think there's many schemes it would click on for him.

John Beck I think might turn into a nice #2 with us. The only real year's his salary would be high are the last two of his rookie deal. Given his circumstances, I don't think asking him to take a paycut is out of line; but I also don't see him turning it on with another team either.
 
I don't care what other teams do, but if they stink it up while on the Dolphins, I am all about replacing them and giving someone else a shot. I could care less if they have nice stats while on another teams, it doesn't mean they can produce here.
 
I'd be very ok with them succeeding elsewhere. All three seem to be real decent people who just haven't panned out here for whatever reason(s)... so far.
 
As long as they are not succeeding for the Pats, Bills, or Jets then i am all for it!

Me too, but the Beck fanatics around here would probably become even more unbearable...

I normally like to see all of the former dolphin's do well, but those two guys never really did anything here so it's a little different. The strongest memory of Beck I have is how everyone at the draft went ballistic when we passed on Quinn. :chuckle:
 
the TriFecta can't afford those kind of mistakes in the rebuilding process & won't be too quick to make one.
 
I would have no problem with any of the three going to another team and doing well. I wish all three the best of luck whether or not they stay on the Dolphins.
