What would you do if the Dolphins were relocated?

A good but scary topic. The idea of the fins of actually moving is almost zero % but non-the-less anything is possible.
For instance, lets say Wayne wanted a new stadium, with 20 extra luxury suites, pay almost nothing in taxes, etc.....and the goverment says no way (Saints just went through a similiar situation) . There is a line of cities that would give into all those needs and more...which in turn would make Wayne a hell of a lot more $.

Like most posters said, it will probably never happen but there is always a chance.

If they moved the Miami Dolphins would be frozen entity

...with a proud history. Any new location and a new name would produce something so different that I'd look for a new franchise.

If they became the LA Lemoheads I'm not too keen. London Cavaliers I'd be able to get season tickets.

We are reaching a desperation level for developing threads if we are talking about theoretical things that have a 0.000001% chance of happening.

Never happen, Miami/Ft Laud./Palm Beach area is now the 6th largest metro area in the country, Florida is projected to surpass New York in population in the near future.

Yeah, because they move down here.

If the Dolphins relocated, Huizenga would have to go into the "relocation program", or I just might find him.

The Norfolk/VA Beach area is high on that list as well. And we don't have a single professional sports team at all. I believe that the area is the largest without one.
I think they've tried a few times actually, haven't they ?

:lol: There is no way he could run that Floridians won't find him.

Cosidering it is the only thing keeping me in FL I myself would relocate either to the city we we moved to or back up the the mountains of NC.
