what would you do?

just a back story real quick. i was an all-state MLB in SC, played at university of louisville, then when my wife became pregnant i thought it would best to join the army. while i was in i also became a high school football coach (which is what i want to do as a career). Now I just got out of the army, and headed back to college, and i have a tryout for the football team on monday. And a friend asked me a funny question. Knowing how much of a hardcore Dolphins fan I am, he asked,"what if, just what if you got drafted? and it was by the jets?". not saying i have a chance, (which i dont) of couse i would go but, i think i would throw up everytime i put that stupid jersey on.
so if given the chance to be drafted, and it so happened to be by the jets what would you do?
 
Honestly if being drafted into the nfl by the Jets was my only ticket in I think I would do it. To be able to say you were drafted and played in the NFL would be something special regardless of the team that drafted you IMO.
 
If somebody paid me hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars to wear a jests jersey, I'd do it, even if it wasn't for a shot to play in the NFL.

On a side note, good luck in school. Let me know if you need any help with VA benefits, etc. I've done a lot of work with veteran students and currently help out at my school. C'mon, man! Most of the current NFL players were not fans of the teams they're now on, and why should you be any different? Tell you what though, if you did get drafted by the Jests and made the team, we would all support you with the same kind of love we gave JT when he made the move. :) jk
 
If I had the talent to play, I would take my check and perform my best for whatever team drafted me.
 
Just make the most of your college carrer so you can pull an Eli...
 
I get Drew Rosenhaus on the phone and demand that I won't play for the Jets......duh.
 
The NFL is a business nothing more nothing less get your money from whomever wants to pay you
