Its a tough call right now. But maybe trade up and get Quinn. Or trade down a few, if Quinn isnt there and get Brown, or landry if he were to fall, or the BPA and pick up an extra 2nd. Or, if Brown and Quinn are gone, pick the bpa at #9. In reality, I guess what im saying is I have no clue. I really think we are in a great spot at 9, a lot of good players in the top 10-15 picks, and we have 2 2nd rounders to boot.

Just thought of this a little while ago. There is talk about a trade with Cleveland for Mare. Let's assume Cleveland is offering a 6th rd pick. We offer them Mare, their 6th and we swap 1st rd picks. That would give us the 3rd pick in the draft for getting Joe Thomas.

If the GB/Moss rumors are true then we have the choice of either Russell or Quinn, or Joe Thomas. Quite a dilemma huh?

^^ lol no way clev deals the 3rd pick in draft for mare, 6thth rd pick and swapping 1sts.

Do you honestly think that they would swap 1st rounders with us for Mare and give us a 6th to boot?????????????? I wish, but no way man!!!

If we get a 6th for him, ill be pleasantly pleased with it.

Six weeks before the draft is a little too difficult to say with any conviction what we should do with the #9 pick.

Oakland might not draft Russell as many think they should
Detroit and Cleveland may pass on a QB
Tampa Bay may draft someone other than Calvin Johnson

This is true. If Oakland drafts CJ, that throws everything outa wack.

No, no. I mean instead of them giving us a 6th. They get Mare and we swap 1st.

Yeah ok, I see now...but man I really dont think they would trade down 6 spots in the 1st round for a K. Maybe swap 3rd or 4th rounders, something like that, but not 1st rounders, thats way too much to give up for a K. But boy I would love that.

Will probably get a late rounder for him and thats about all we should hope for, anything more than that would be very unusual.

They are offering that because we are losing the 6th that Wilkinson was supposed to bring. Mueller should say no and work a better deal as a 5th rd pick or a 6th this yr and a and swap picks in the second or third rounds.

If Mare is not traded and his trade value is not that good
he WILL be released...we cant pay two kickers for that kind of money!!

So Cleveland could get him for nothing if they wait long enough
So they are going to swap picks with us(when they could get one
of the top 3 players in the draft)for Olindo and our 9th for there 3rd

EVERYONE IN THERE ORGANIZATION WOULD BE FIRED IF THEY LET THAT
SCENERIO TAKE PLACE

I really wouldn't mind staying where we are or trading down a few spots. Someone like Levi Brown, Dwayne Bowe, LaRon Landry or Reggie Nelson would be good at anywhere from picks 9-14.

Move down and take Ginn plus the extra picks....we need to get younger so we need picks....plus the more picks you have the better the chance you'll hiy on some of them. What I mean is if we're gonna hit on half of our picks then I'd rather hit on 5 out of 10 than on 3 out of 6...lol

Ozzy rules!!

Tough call. Quinn and CJ are way ahead of the other players in terms of upside for our team. I would consider trading up if it was a fair trade.
