Knowing that free agent money may be less than expected, what option would you prefer?

A. Brees and nothing else in free agency
B. Bentley and McCown
C. Bentley and Archuleta
D. Something else

I don't want to hear Peterson, Brees, Hutchinson and Bentley because that is fantasy football. Miami may be able to clear enough for about 10 million. Brees will ask for about that, I would think. Bentley might be in the 5-6 million range. Although, dollars spent on free agents may go down.

Don't know for sure, but we have to upgrade the QB position. If it is Brees, we are probably set there for several years to come. If not, well we're back to looking for a QB again in the future....I've also read that Philly is almost a lock to get Bentley as soon as FA starts (it was an article from another thread here....in the Philly Inquirer, don't have the link). I have to reserve all judgement of who is cut and who needs to be signed in FA until we actually are in FA and we know what we have to spend...that should be soon...

Sometimes guys have to remember this is a process. We don't need to win the Superbowl next year. We have the tools and the ability to make changes and over the next couple of years win the big prize.

We can get a QB in Brees this year via Free Agency.

Draft some Secondary, Safty, corner and some LB help.

For the overall results, yes. It may be a slow process to get there, but so far...What he did last year, was NOTHING SLOW! From 4-12 the previous year, to 9-7. Quickly.

My vote is for A. Grab Drew Brees. It's been so long since we've had a REAL QB, I want to get it out the way and see how it feels.

i like brees , maybe t.o. on the cheap and peterson remember saban coached and recruited him at michigan state so there are some ties there
