Free agency: bring in Dan Williams DT, Orlando Franklin OG, Hakeem Nicks
Resign: Delmas, Odrick, Satelle (depth)
Keep: Wallace
Release: Hartline, Gibson, Ellerbe, Wheeler, Finnegan

Draft
1. Bernardrick McKinney OLB -- A big, versatile linebacker who is a little like Karlos Dansby. I like him on the outsie.
2. Denzel Perryman ILB -- Kind of player who sets the tone for the defense. Physical in the run game. Two-down backer?
3. Austin Hill WR -- Trade back about 10 spots and get an additional fifth round pick. Hill has the size, hands and redzone talent that fits exactly what Miami needs.
4. Josh Shaw CB -- A big corner with the versatility to play safety. Have to check character. Could likely start for Miami right away.
5. Nick Marshall CB/Qb -- Another big corner who could be an emergency qb for Miami.
5. Karlos Williams RB -- A big back with speed to team with Lamar Miller.
6. Hayes Pullard ILB -- Good linebacker in pass coverage, a third down player.
7. Cameron Clemmons OT -- Someone to compete and add depth at OT

Austin Hill is drafted WAY to early, but I do like as a sleeper, him and Tre McBride...

Karlos Williams is also picked WAY to early (who I am not a fan of either)... so many better RBs we can go with.

A big need for us is ILB, but we went LB way too much in this draft. so many other needs as well. also due to the lack of depth at LB in the draft, especially ILB... I am not sure if Perryman will be there for us in the 2nd.

Josh Shaw pick I dont mind, but being followed by Nick MArshall I would dislike.

We need an OG in the draft badly, we didnt go get one at all here. a DT would be nice as well.

I think the FA isn't bad but with no Clay you are looking at Sims and who else? One thing is Im not sure Delmas will be ready to go so counting on him to start might be risky..although I do like bringing him back.

Not a fan of two LBs in the first two rounds though. McKinney is athletic but he looks lost in space sometimes, I think putting him on the outside will highlight his weaknesses and not his strengths. If you draft him I think its to play at Mike personally. Im not big on Perryman. Either way, I think Misi makes too much to not start, and I don't think (not sure) we benefit by cutting him financially right now.

I like the rest of your picks quite a bit. I think Nick Marshall is definitely worth a gamble…he certainly didn't look lost at CB at the Sr. Bowl and he has the athletic ability to thrive there. If Im not mistaken he was a top notch CB coming into college…could be off on that though.

Oops. I forgot about Clay. I'd definitely bring Clay back in this scenario.

In this scenario, a guard (Franklin) and defensive tackle (Williams) were signed as free agents. I would still like to add a guard in the draft.

If we got McKinney or Perryman, that would take care of the need at linebacker. Hopefully the coaches move Jordan to strong side full time. That would make our starters Jordan at SLB, McKinney or Perryman at MLB, and Jenkins at WLB. Misi would be kept as an insurance policy on the strong side or to allow Jordan position flexibility on certain downs. I think drafting both McKinney and Perryman would be overkill.

Something I'm hoping happens is a trade down to the bottom of Round 1 or top of Round 2 where we would still be in position to grab our preferred target at ILB while acquiring another pick.

i see.... but still would need to get one in the draft to develop a young guy to move into the starting spot... plus depth is very important. this is for many positions we need like DT, CB, LB, WR as well.

Don't think we need to draft 2 linebackers that high, it's doubtful Our coaching staff Would want to start 2 rookie linebackers anyway.

We also still have that White dude we drafted last year who's name I can't think of. With the job the staff did developing Jenkins it wouldn't surprise me if He's ready to go next year.

I do like the scenario of trading down. Kendricks might be the most well rounded of the middle linebacker prospects and could be a target lower in R1.
