What would you trade for andrew luck?

and if Luck should get hurt early on??? How many years did you just throw away?????

Aye, trade 'em all away and Luck may get hurt. Keep 'em and you'll get to stay mediocre... at least for a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our complete roster and our 2012 & 2013 drafts, but they'll never take... OUR LUCK!

If Luck is gone, and we are in the top five picks, I would be ok getting Matt Barkley of USC. He doesn't get the pub that Luck gets but he is a very accurate thrower and mobile. He is not quite as big as Luck, but I think he will have as least as good a career as Carson Palmer or Sanchez...former USC QB's.

2 - 1st rounders
2 - 2nd rounders
2 - 3rd rounders
2 - 4th rounders
2 - 5th rounders
2 - 6th rounders
2 - 7th rounders

Sounds good. Luck will be ready to retire by the time the team has recovered.

Whatever it takes to get the 1st pick. Maybe to make it a little more of a sweeter deal for the other team, we can throw in a free year of fist pump lessons from none other than the master fist pumper himsef, TONY S!

Why would you say to give up all of our picks for the next 2 years? That is just stupid. There are other great QB's available. Someone please find where in the history of the draft that giving up THAT much has ever worked out for a team. I can imagine it has happened, but can't be more than once.

We have too much talent on this team to start shipping off proven stars (wake??) for a prospect.

Whatever it takes?? If you were telling me you were signing a Peyton or Aaron Rodgers, someone that we already know is proven and going to immediately going to
change things I would give up a ton. But why would anyone give up "anything"/2 years worth of draft picks for a prospect.
You think we are the laughing stock of the league now?.....what do you think we would be if he gets hurt/busts and we spend 2 years out of the draft pool?

i said 3 1st rounders before i realized that we were likely looking at a top 5 pick this year...as such top 5 pick in 2012 1st rounder in 2013 and cam wake (he's the prize teams would want most off our existing roster...randy starks does not have the same appeal) plus a 3rd rounder in 2013 all to get up there for andrew luck

but don't be surprised if someone in the top 10 trumps that offer...whatever the offer you better come correct

If it comes down to it and we have the 5th pick and had to trade up to number 1 what would u give up?

im willing to give up something like

2 - 1st rounders
2 - 2nd rounders
2 - 3rd rounders
2 - 4th rounders
2 - 5th rounders
2 - 6th rounders
2 - 7th rounders

i honestly think this is what it will take to get luck. 2 complete drafts and i would say he is all worth it... would u rather have a 22 year old payton manning or jared odrick, koa misi, john jerry, aj edds, nolan carroll, reshad jones, mike pouncey, daniel thomas? the only 2 decent players out of those two drafts look like pouncey and thomas... and who takes a center at 15??!!?

the point im trying to make is draft picks are overrated because the draft is such a gamble... you simply take the best QB prospect EVER and roll with him, idc who we have to give up for him.

This is why you're not a GM

Knida reminds of what you'd do for a Klondike bar.

Personally, I'd strangle a mother****er to death, but that's just me.

What makes you think that the team that has the #1 pick would be interested in trading down? Of the other other likely contenders right now, I think only KC and Minny might turn down Luck. I think Denver and Indy would gobble him up.

The smarter move would be to take Matt Barkley and use all those other draft picks to make the team around your QB better.
