that sounds like something the fan of a team in our division would say...if its me i'd rather pay the price for the guy i believe is the next peyton manning than settle for another franchise qb in the making imo which barkley is but not quite the same level as luck

how many drafts would the colts have picked in the top 5 without manning every year??? the colts under manning have been year in and year out contenders i don't think anyone can argue that...i'd like to get to where we contend every year before i worry about how many banners we can hang in the rafters...
as for going for barkley i don't think its a bad idea but i think when you have a shot at a once a decade type qb prospect you go all in...and thats what luck is to me...once a decade...so i'm all in
there's nothing wrong with barkley as a fall back however...i'd just make sure i did everything i could to try and get to luck first
