What would your reaction be

The Steelers are a run first team I think with their two SBs with Rothisberger. Its not all pass happy. The 49ers are a run first team and the best team in the NFC. Do you watch the good teams? Patriots are pass happy but did not win the SB.

.

Seriously get your facts straight. The Steelers were ranked 23rd in rushing when they won the superbowl

The 49ers are a run first team and the best team in the NFC.

They're not the best team in the NFC. Moreover, they lost to the team with the better QB

the Niners were the Jets with Sanchez the previous year .. Did you ever really believe the Jets were going to win the superbowl with Sanchez??? Of course not. Same for the niners with Alex Smith. It aint happening in this era

Do you watch the good teams?

Yes I do, and 90% of the time those good teams have damn good QB play.

Patriots are pass happy but did not win the SB.

The Giants were dead last in rushing for most of the season this year, and won the SB. They also have a damn good QB and a great WR corps when they won the SB

The Steelers had a 539-434 pass-rush attempt ratio. You need to be good at the run, nobody's doubting that, but it has still become a pass-oriented league, no matter how hard some teams try to hold onto it. The new rules just benefit the pass now. That's a fact. Teams that stick with the run first mentality will continue to fall behind as they fight their uphill battle. The run still plays an important role, but not nearly the same as it once did. The 49ers were run first during much of the regular season because they could get away with that in a ****ty NFC West and they were limited in ability at the QB position. They couldn't ride that against a team like the Saints and instead turned to the passing game to beat them.

Well I would be happy if they drafted Kalil with the pick. Moved him to RT and watch Bush and Thomas both run for over a 1000 yards this year. Actually I dont really believe its going to happen. I would be shocked.

Not sure if serious.

The only thing I know for sure is that all of the people who are claiming that they would turn off their tv and not see who we pick are full of it...haha. I doubt any one would ever do that....lol...not gonna happen folks

Heres a link that will teach you something about the Steelers offense and how non-pass happy it is. Your ration means nothing. Just do some research on the offensive coordinator that used to be there.

49ers are second best team in the NFC and they are more run oriented then Pass. Yes Giants are the best and now that they have an elite QB they can be more pass oriented. the phins are neither. they are 3 years of losing with backup QBs. A QB will be drafted whatever anyone thinks here.

What's funny is that you find that more unbelievable than Ireland actually growing a set of balls and making a move like that (regardless of how bad he would likely screw it up...Kalil).

Did you just use Bleacher Report as your research? And now that 49ers are the second best NFC team, not the best as you previously stated? Your argument is reeling....

I doubt anyone here has actually thrown a remote or anything else through their tv set. That gets expensive. I have a aqua colored Dolphins' mini-football that is made out of the same material in beany babies and I chuck that at my tv. I wish I would have had it with me when we took Ted Ginn a few years back.

I would be surprised, but not stunned. I can see Tannehill going at 3 or 4, espcially if KC or perhaps Philly decide to trade up, but could also see the browns grabbing him at 4. If he doesnt fall to us, then we will trade down, and that would be the probably the most seeable scenario.

Applaud Ireland and co. for growing a set. Tannehill should be our guy.

Trading down makes no sense to me. This team needs a superstar player. Trading down and failing to add a Top 10 guy in this draft would be silly.

I would call directv and cancel Sunday ticket, still plan on going to the bengals, colts and possibly family road trip to az(would be road stadium 24 to see the fins) game, and enjoy the rebuilding year from a far.

We need players now. Can't waste any picks that we have for a player that won't contribute for a while, and if it's for a lineman, yes breaking the tv is a possibility. Go back to spielman and Wanstach trading away years of drafts. At 8 we are in a good spot in the first two rds to get a couple of nice impact players.
