I just read in the Star Ledger that the Dolphins made a big mistake in not drafting Brady Quinn..Why are we still hearing this..Do you really think we made a mistake in drafting Ted Ginn...Right now where im at is ...I DONT NO...

We did great!

Relax, it's one person's opinion. I personally have faith in the the people in this organization and believe they did the right thing during the draft.

We may have made a mistake drafting Ginn (we will see, I hope not)... but I dont believe we made a mistake passing on Quinn...

We had more information about Quinn than any other team in the league. If we didnt want him... we had a damn good reason...

As of right now...NO. But I'll hold off on making any kind of final judgement after next season.

Current Career Stats

Brady Quinn - 0/0 , 0 yards, 0 TD's, 0 int's
Ted Ginn - 0 catches, 0 yards, 0 TD's

Judging by those stats....it might be a little premature.

they both might be a bust who know? i think brady might be a bust in cleveland for really...once these guy get thier money in 1st rd some of them get lazy and do not play good at next level...

We should have passed on Quinn, but there will always be comparisions between Quinn and Beck, a sort of game by gaem "What if"?

Quinn throws for three TD's..Beck rides pine could easily happen this year, or Quinn could hold out and miss the majority of Training Camp.

So far the ledger istands at -0- for Beck and -0- for Quinn.

Gotta laugh at this one. I dont know why the media would keep saying this now especially after Quinn is holding out for his franchise qb money (which IMO he doesnt deserve) with his favorite team that went out of their way to save him in the draft. At worst we have a player in Ginn that can be a threat in various situations, where as if Quinn is a bust look what Cleveland gave up. Id like to say we ll see this year but i doubt Quinn gets off the bench unless the Browns drop the first 6 in a row :boohoo::boohoo::boohoo::boohoo::boohoo::boohoo:, where as Ginn can show immediate impact. Run Teddy Run!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly. Right now this is a moot and quite franlky, rather silly discussion.
Must be July.

this is what i think, i think that dolphin fans think too much .

seriously if booker and beck and satele and mauia turn out to be good as advertised then we drafted good . even if ginn doesnt turn out to be a stud wr but if beck, mauia , and booker turn out to be good i would still say we did good. what i dont want is for most of those guys to be out of the nfl in two years that will hurt if so.

From a marketing stand point the organization missed out huge when we didn't take Quinn; consequently Quinn missed out on a lot of potential big bucks also. From an on the field standpoint I think we will be very happy with Ginn if he gets back to 100%. Whether Beck is better than Quinn we'll not know for a few years since both are looking at being backups. If you look at overall draft, minus the Ginn/Quinn controversy, we had our best draft since JJ era.

Had Ohio State won the NCAA champ. last year, the Ginn pick would hardly have been an issue. But becuase they lost, and he got hurt his stock fell. I think this is a blessing in diguise for the Dolphins.

Hype is everything in the draft, thats all Quinn had. I never bought into it, even though i had a feeling Quinn would fall to us. Ginn's hype was all gone, he wasnt even on any Dol-fans radars. I think most people were upset mostly becuase of the surprise. Not becuase we took Ginn, it was just the shock.

I hope Ginn does well, im sure he will. But i honestly dont think we will be regretting not taking Quinn. There were also a lot of other teams that could have taken him also.
