I always try to remain neutral on whether or not he intentionally tries to find the negative spin of everything concerning the Dolphins. But, I'm really starting to believe it's intentional. Even when we snag a big fish (Suh) he trashes how we snagged them.

The deal that isn’t allowed to be a deal will be one heck of a deal, once it can legally become a deal.

Per a league source, the contract that defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh will sign with the Dolphins will include $60 million guaranteed over three years. And that’s fully guaranteed, not guaranteed for injury until 2015 or 2016 before it converts to fully guaranteed.

Teams usually won’t fully guarantee large amounts because the NFL requires teams to fund the fully-guaranteed payments at signing. In this case, Dolphins owner Stephen Ross will be required to write a check for $60 million, with Suh getting plenty of it up front and the rest going to an escrow account for future distribution.

Other teams (and likely the league office) won’t like this. If owners who have the cash to make that kind of commitment start making that kind of commitment, they’ll have a huge advantage when it comes to signing players. Eventually, the richest owners will take over the league.

Some believe that, previously, the richest owners have resisted doing it out of respect for the owners who can’t. Ross may be blazing a trail that sparks renewed acrimony between the NFL’s haves and the have-mores.

he definitely reports the news with his own spin on it.... taking shots at everything the dolphins do is nothing new on that site

Another link I won't click. Is there a quote you can provide?

The national media is mainly in the north east. They don't like Miami.

He and Heath Evans always go out of their way to trash us. Unreal!!

In my opinion anyone trashing the suh move is just jealous and bitter or they hate miami to begin with, a player of suhs caliber never hits free agency....the guy is a baller and instantly makes everyone on defense better. People keep listing his sacks and tackles saying he isnt worth the money, and while it is alot of money its what doesnt show up on the stat sheet that makes him so valuable. The guy is constantly getting doubled freeing up ends and linebackers to make plays.the guy is a force.

Just stating he doesn't agree with giving Suh that kind of money isn't enough of an argument, so he resorts to attempting to shame the owner and the franchise; he's breaking the honor code. Please tell me, why do you care Mikey? It ends badly for us, it gives you more to slam us about, no?...I think I really dislike that guy (Florio).

Hey, the Suh deal has risk but it also has big upside. Ignore the critics like Florio, Heath Evans and Pat Kirwan. All of them have always had a negative agenda against the Dolphins and the Ndamukong Suh deal just gives them the forum to express it. The dice is set to be officially rolled this afternoon. I'm actually more optimistic about it.

So is he actually complaining that a rich owner is spending a lot of money? This after he trashed the same owner in the past for not spending his own money(stadium renovations).

If Ross spending money pisses off the "poor" owners, that is their problem. If Ross has the resources to make this team better on the field and he wants to use them, than go right ahead and do it. As long as the Dolphins benefit, that is all that matters to me.

I think Florio is just a miserable person who wants everyone to be miserable with him. He doesn't just bash the Dolphins...although it is a favorite target of his...he bashes every team he can at every opportunity. He's built a multi-million dollar website on it that people keep going to and then posting about. It's working and putting money in his pockets.

If the Patriots did this, they would be preaching about how brilliant they are.

I ****ing hate Heath evans. He has a unique hatred for the phins for sure. Or maybe its not that unique? Seems to be getting pretty prevalent now.
