Can you name 5 players on the Patriots team that is not Vinitieri, Brady, or Dillion? My point is, you don't need superstars (ex. Redskins, now: Browns and Titans) to build a championship team. You need players that do their job on a consistant basis.

As for the FA we cant sign ever single "name" out there....Its a process anyways it is more complicated then ok we are interested in you so lets sign you. And as for the the workout program that is just our program maybe some others too but the news was about ours alone.

Well other than Arrington, Peterson or Law...who is left ?? Peterson is visiting today...we'll see I guess...

The volunteer workouts are held by just about every team...the league considers these "non-team workouts", so don't count towards the allowable number of practice days a team can have in the offseason... Most players get bonuses for attending these workouts...that keeps the guys together, building the locker room comradery (sp) and allows teams to keep tabs on off season conditioning of players...

Hey, you must have missed the thread... we got Daunte Culpepper!

There are only a few big name free agents and many teams. Many of which have much more cap space than we do. Getting Daunte and some lesser known role players is fantastic.

It takes alot of politics and a ton of money to make things happen. When your dealing with that much money, its good to take things alittle slower

several other teams have started their off-season programs...different time frames for different teams.
