whats happened to Fasano

last year he made some fabulus plays and this year nobody is even talking about him , so is this just preseason where tightends are not used except for blocking. judging by the way the oline is playing it may be we have to use two tightends to help block . do you guys see Fasano blocking more and catching less because of the oline ?

I think Fasano will have a great year. Remember, we play every preseason team in the regular season. If we give them the impression that Fasano is out of favor we can unleash him on them all season and catch them off guard.

Fasano scored the touchdown last night.

I think Fasano will be fine once they get to the regular season. Pennington loves throwing to his tight ends and while you haven't heard much about Fasano and Martin this preseason, you will hear them a lot in the regular season.

Same reason a new car loses it's luster....when you get it, it's all shiny and new...then after time it still does the job, but your used to it being around, so you become complacent with it

I too think Fasano will have a good year. They aren't going to utilize every play in the book in pre-season. He was wiiiiiiiidddddeeeee open for the touchdown though.

Fasano hasn't changed really... all those TD's he scored last year was on very ew targets... he just was able to convert them into TD's... its hard to consistantly do that, and probably wont happen again. i will be extremely shocked if he gets those TD numbers again.

I really like Fasano and I am kind of fond of Martin too . how did Haynos and the new guy (forgot his name darn it) look last night ?

One word. Preseason. Fasano is doing the same thing Brown and half the team (except the rookies) are doing: playing at 50% so that they don't get hurt. There is NO reason to get wound up about the preseason. Another issue is the fact they have played 3 games in 11 days, usually they play 3 games in 21 DAYS!
