Not sure we'll have the money for him. If he comes back, his previous contract is still in effect, which means the Phins will owe him $3,000,000 for 2005. If the Phins cant pay that much they will have to release Ricky outright. If the Phins offer to forgive some of the money Ricky owes them in lieu of salary, the league could charge that amount to the cap.
 
We need a good QB and a better group of safeties. Hopefully we'll be able to get alot of pressure on the QB up front and take some of the burden off of our DBs.
 
We need a strong safety, a defensive tackle, A QUARTERBACK, AND A KICKER THAT CAN PUT THE BALL BETWEEN THE UPRIGHTS.

Howard will do fine filling in for him at CB, especially if Saban plays a lot of Zone coverage which is what he played a lot of in Carolina I think. sabans whole idea is not to allow the other qb time to pass. You will see extreme heat on opposing qb's. This leads to turnovers. It also makes average secondary's look alot better. Have faith.
 
C imho

a center makes a line as good as a good RB. We drafted our RB in RB and now we have to give him the best line and we don't have a very good center.

The only one we have is a young guy with sweaty hands... he sweats so bad that the QBs have problems to grab the ball... Sounds not too good in adition that he isn't the best blocker and line caller either...
 
How about adding RW McQuarters after the Bears release him? He'd add depth at CB as well as KR.

How many TE's does one team need? TE is not a need on this team.
 
LT and CB--I see some of these post dont include CB--I just wonder why not --who do they think will start opposite Sam?

also look for Alex Holmes to makes the 53-man... he's my outside bet.
 
I would agree on the Center
DT only if Bowens and Chester can't go as has been advertised... but that's taken care of if we get Traylor..
I'd like to see how the CB's we have do first... I have a good feeling they'll surprise..But a signing like T-Buck would certainly ease my concerns there..
and I'd replace KR with Safety, that's my biggest concern right now..I think Wes is fine returning kicks and punts..
