1. The extreme pessimism after losses - fire everyone, qb sucks, line sucks, defense sucks, kill everyone, etc.

2. The kool aid drinking after a win - Tannehill is clearly the answer, Ajayi is GOAT, Gase/Harambe 2016, etc.

Where's the 'dumb poll' option?

But no, 1 and 2 come from the same posters. They are too high after a win and too low after a loss. So it's a tie.

both are idiotic at times

Hey we won because of the running game and defense. I still say tannehill stinks.

I don't think it's unfair to want change after the poor performances we say the first few games. It was a **** show frankly. I for one wasn't wanting Gase fired but if the same team that showed in games 1-4 showed up in 13-16 then I would join that group. I like what Gase has done and if we continue to make strides then great but we some some horrific ball early and I'm sure we'll have another run of bad but steps forward is what will sell me on Gase and crew.We have had very bad football for a long time and I want change. This team has a very short rope in my opinion but steps forward are what excite me.

Are you saying the O-line didn't suck before the starting 5 finally played together? If that's true how come they cut three offensive lineman in one week?

I'd say the negative posts after a loss. We've been so down for so long, I forgive anyone who is over the top ridiculous happy after 2 straight wins. I danced in my man cave Sunday after Stills TD for the first time since my freakin wedding. Enjoy it when you can. If we're gonna beat ourselves up after losses, I'm gonna dance and tie one on after the big wins. Period.

I sympathize more with the people that have a short fuse for bad play solely due to the fact that we've been so bad for so long and have a history of giving coaching too much time only to realize in the end that they were no good, and 5 years have been wasted. The fans that are yelling playoffs after 2 games IMHO are the WORST because we've seen this movie time and time again. Fins look good for a few games every year only to end 8-8 or less. Hell i remember in the distant pass we would always start 6-1 7-1 etc... only to end 9-7 10-6 and occasionally 11-5 but either miss the playoffs or get our asses handed to us in the playoffs. So i'm taking a wait 11-12 games in approach and lets see where we are then.

I understand being happy about wins, I'm talking more about things like declaring Jay Ajayi a "star" after 2 good games.

True Ajayi has had two great games and that hardly makes you a star, but remember Lamar Miller had his 175 yard game against the Jets and his 178 yard game against the Texans (on a total of 33 carries), and outside of those games he had a very average 4.2 yards per carry during his other games as Dolphin. So Miller's legend or fan base was greatly impacted by two games too.

Ah, gotcha.. yeah I'm not ready to go there yet. I just want some first downs and a chance to win in the 4th. I do think if this line stays healthy and continues to grow confidence, he's going to pile up the yards. Star? Not yet, but I think I'd say he has a better shot at being that than a fluke based on how hard he runs and the vision he is starting to show. I do believe he's real.

I motion to add a "Tannenbaum" option on all future negative Dolphins polls.
