Whats needed more?

this topic has been up in the air for some time, what do the Dolphins need more a WR or a LB, heres what I think the Dolphins should go ahead and try to get Dez Bryant with 1.12 and use the rest of the Draft on a deffence if the don't get what they need on D from the Draft they should go ahead and look for it in the Free Agent, and see how this year pans out

id much rather look for a reciever in FA and D in the draft than the other way around. i just never like using a top 15 on WR's, thats just me though.
 
Again as in all the other threads you have started on this subject, defense is the priority. IMMEDIATE IMPACT is needed.
 
only the fantasy footballers, maddenites & other reality-challenged knuckleheads want a wr with the 12th pick.
 
Dez is the "hyped" player in the draft. He has skills, but Miami has greater needs. We don't have the luxury to go for Dez Bryant. I would rather see Miami take CJ Spiller to prepare himself for a bigger role in 2011 when Ricky moves on than taking Dez.

But Miami has to seriously think about LINEBACKER with that first pick. Rolando McClain looks to be something special. Miami should trade or drop Akin Ayodele and put McClain in his spot. This guy is fast and ferocious. I don't know if he will even be available at #12.
 
I'm with MIZFIT on this one WR by free agency, because I think you would want one that can make an imediate impact and draft for defense. For all the people that like to disect a post I know nothing is guaranteed when you bring in a FA just because they were good for team x doesnt mean they will be good for us. I also realize their are players like percy harvin that do make an immediate impact but we don't ever seem to draft those type of players so that's why I said through FA Its just my humble opinion :up:

Typically free agency is "prior" to the draft. So I would say it would be the opposite. Try to fix as many needs through FA, then if they don't look for the remaining pieces in the draft.
 
If they could get Dansby in FA that will go a long way in resolving the middle of the defense. Looking at Cody tonight he is just mammoth sized. Looks like he needs to get stronger though.
