He's still just 29, an age many NFL quarterbacks are in their prime.
And yet in so many ways, Michael Vick— whose involvement in a dogfighting ring led to one of the most dramatic falls from grace ever by an NFL player — has taken on the role of an aging has-been, angling for just one more shot at stardom and the riches that come with it.

On Monday, Vick will become a free man as he completes a two-month home confinement that followed about 18 months behind bars, most of that period at the federal prison in Leavenworth, Kan. The electronic monitoring device Vick has worn since returning to his home in Hampton, Va., will be removed, and the former Atlanta Falcons quarterback once considered one of pro football's most exciting players will be legally cleared to resume his career after being out of the game for two seasons, suspended indefinitely.

at some point he will be reinstated. Unlike many NFL player he did actually do time for his crime. He has the support of alot of players and coaches who think he deserves another shot. If people want to act like he was the only player who fought dogs , live in that fantasy world, he was the only one that got caught and it was by complete accident.

Well ESPN has news on him all the time. It's looking like the CFL.

Michael Vick is extremely athletic. We all know this and NFL teams know this. Plenty of teams need QB's and if a team is will to take the PR rush that comes with Vick, someone will take the chance. But Vick has to show that he is genuinely contrite or else most teams will shy away.

I agree. He's one of the most athletic guys to ever play football, but as far as being a quarterback I don't think he's much. My question now is where could he go where he would be better than the starter?
