Whats our O-Line going to look like?

Right now at this point all we have is Carey and Satelle, at LT the potential options are Keeping Carey there, Draft Jake Long, or going after Flozell Adams, at LG ive been hearing Fanica's name but he is gonna be pricey and from what i hear he might be looking to goto Arizona to reunite with his fromer OC and Line coach, so where do we go there? Center is all set, RG from the looks of it this coaching staff doesnt look like they want to bring Hadnot back because according to his agent has said there has been no contact about resigning. and RT if we get Long or Adams then Carey will come here, but if we dont get either Carey will most likely stay at LT, so who is out there in FA or the draft (in later rounds) for RT? So as it stands LT and C seem to be our only filled positions. RT isnt a worry if we get adams or long cause Carey was fine there, but were to we go for the 2 G positions? expecially if we dont get Fanica or resign Hadnot.

I'd like J.Bell OG from Tennessee and maybe F.Adams, if not Adams then please draft J.Long. I'm a huge fan of Brandon Albert OG if we could get him with our 2a. If B.Albert is gone R.Schuening in the 3rd would still be effective. Signing F.Adams means a C.long or maybe even V.Gholston would be fantastic draft choices.

Im not expecting that big of an OL shake-up... Keep Carey at LT and Satelle at C... Hope to resign Hadnot to RG... Really all we need is RT and LG..

Mormino, I get a bad feeling that he is another "Glass" Joe Toledo.. Hope not though

I believe V.Carey would be an ALL Pro Guard, J. Long could be kept at RT, while being groomed to take over for Adams in a couple years. This line would allow us to run the left, right, up the middle, i believe this group would be very solid in pass protection also.

Carey is too big and slow to play guard first of all. If Jake Long isn't a LT he has no buissness being #1 and Faneca is pretty much already a JET. We will be alright IMO though.

I believe we also have Julius Wilson (T) and Gene Mruckowski (G/C).
So as was already stated, the only thing we know right now is - we don't know. There are ALOT of UFA OG and OT (or there will be in a few days). The one safe assumption at this point is that the FO staff and coaching staff are figuring out who they want to look at and who they don't want to look at.

Man, that would be the most expensive OL in the league. I dont think its a good idea to move carey to a new position, one that he never played

I think our new HC former Dallas OL coach may disagree about V. Carey, L. Davis converted from LT to RG and immediately went to the Pro Bowl, remember Parcells and Co. like really, really big O lines.

Well FA don't start till the 29th. We won't be trading any picks for lineman right now either. Their isn't anything we can do till the FA period begins. We will have some big uglies. Don't worry.
