What's so special about BOOKER?

638 yards lets not exaggerate that much and in 15 starts which mean he is good for just over 40 yards a game.

Which in our offense last year is like having around 100yrds a game.:)

with your offense the way it was last season, you should be happy with 635 yards, for your #2 WR.

stats can be misleading.

I know the guy had one good year in Chicago but, what has he done here in a year and a preseason? I've been looking for this guy to do something and nada! Promote Boston to the #2 and demote booker to #3.

I want Boston to start as well, but in Bookers defense. he has GREAT hands, his routes are great, he has a 2nd gear to pull away. Plus he's big.

I still want Boston

let them both Prove that they deserve the spot...i am all for moving boston up the depth chart if he deserves it...but Booker IS good

another, "he hasnt done anything in preseason, he sucks!!!" thread....

its preseason. he is getting older, but hes still good. he can run routes well, catch well, read coverages well. he adds leadership. the only thing bad about him is his speed, and his age.

No this isn't a "what have you done for me lately" I'm just wondering what he does that boston hasn't or can't.

 It must happen a lot, you're one of the most reasonable non-finfans I've seen on here.
you got me on a good day. a few days ago, i was about to be stoned to death by some posters. :D

where did you get that family guy avatar?
its a GREAT show.

It seems players who aren't flashy catch a lot of flack on this board. He doesn't run a 4.4 40 but he is huge - consistent - and can go up and get the ball. Also one of his strengths is running after the catch.

If you go back and look at last year he was much more consistent going up and getting the ball over defenders than Chambers. Not saying he is better - just that LAST year he did a great job.

i felt a little piece of myself die with every key stroke. :shakeno:

ill just picture him as a Bear. and that may ease my pain.

That makes me feel better because I am getting sick of you being one of the most reasonable people on this board. Can't you just be a true Bill fan and say he sucks and he can't catch and has broken down knees and eats babies?

i get ya.

i have more faith in Booker. Boston has so many question marks tied to him. steroids, injuries, attitude, off the field problems, can he ever be what he was... i can see why the fins signed him, and took the risk, but i dont think they are ready to rely on him that much. its only been a few preseason games.

Also with Boston's injuries I think it is better to keep him off the field some. Booker is a big guy that can get some blocks and be a consistent possesion guy. This helps keep Boston fresh and injury free.

Your right! I'm just wondering if saban says he wants the best players on the field and, boston becomes the boston of old, would he be the #2.

Booker has played an actual real down for us, Boston has not.
