Yeah I think thats the probably the kids of the people who took him in and treated him like one of the own. I remember a story about something like that around the time he was drafted.

No I don't think so I think it was just more of a watching out for him and helping him with whatever he needed. I do remember they play a huge role in his life and the kids dad was one of the 1st people Ronnie talked to after being drafted.

yeah I remember little parts of it but no the specifics(since ite was a few months back), but I guess I could've did a search.
 
there was an article in last sundays sun-sentinel about these people. They are great people from where Ronnie grew up and he basically has two mothers and two fathers. His biological mother looks at his "other" mom as a sister. His biological mother didn't have any problems, they are just really really close family friends. Ronnie is from a place where "race" is still a major issue and these two families managed to fight against it and in a sense become "one family". Great reading on this topic in the paper. www.sun-sentinel.com
