whats the deal with cobbs

i know his a RFA, but does that mean hes a dolphin unless someone else signs him, or does he become open for any team after a certain date, the RFAs always confuse me?

can anybody help me with this
 
Cobbs signed a contract extension a few months ago. The number of years escapes me at the moment. However, he is not an RFA.
 
He signed during the season after he had a great game. The guy looked pretty good too.

Dolphins signed RB Patrick Cobbs to a two-year extension through 2010.
Cobbs, a productive special teamer who is frequently used on third downs, typifies the unselfish type of player the new Dolphins regime is looking for. He has 10 catches for 216 yards and two receiving TDs so far this year.

Cobbs is sick. Cobbs is a legend.

A better title would be "did we re-sign cobbs? how long is cobbs under contract?"
 
cobbs is an amazing 3rd stringer. i would like to see him more in 3rd down passing situations.
 
We've got a great backfield with Cobbs, Ricky and Ronnie. Cobbs is really underrated as a 3rd down back..the dude was a beast at UNT.
 
COBBS IS A Okie so dont run him down the way you guys ran welker down.

Cobbs ought to be a biger factor this year. him and fasano should both be fun to watch.
 
Cobbs is a great all around player and thats the kind of guy you would love on any team, we should be very happy we got a back like that playing 3rd string, i would love to see what our other 2 younger backs got tho sooner or later.
 
Cobbs,bess and Fasano..... my favorite 3 blue colar guys.
