Maybe I missed it somewhere. I know that Ricky has an 8.6 Mil judgement against him. I know he was brought in for the Vet's minimum. Has something been worked out that will allow him to whittle away at the 8.6 if he performs well over the next couple years?

I know the judgement was fair and it's indisputable that it's at least a potion of the reason he came back. But, if he performs well it would be a bit unfair to not let him at least whittle away at it a bit as the next few years go by. I'm bassing this on Mueller's comments that he isn't interested in trying to trade Ricky in the near (2 - 3 year) future.

IMO, if he plays well for 4-5 years, i think the dolphins will wipe away the 8.6 million dollar debt and ricky still gets paid what he is due. ricky will never have to actually pay the 8.6 unless he flakes out again but that is very unlikely caues if he did, wayne would go after every dollar ricky had.

From everything I've heard is that he is going to make in the range of $206,000 in base salary after the fines... Yet I haven't heard him complain about it once!!

It will probaly happen like Mcmikes contract. Ricky will come in and in a few weeks they will get him signed to a new contract. its better if they do it later because he was also docked 4 weeks of pay, if he restructures his contract before the weeks end he could lose even more money. My guess is he will sign a new one in week 10 or so. Thats after the 4 game fine.
