I haven't heard that he'll be franchised. Anything new on him?
Man this would be a huge pickup being the majority of our runs are at mid/gaurd. He's strong and quick with good feet and can block good at the second level. I hope Saban has him on the priority list. And that we have enough cap space.
Man if we get him and pick up a LT and a really good G in the draft our line could dominate.

they didnt franichise him, and hes supposingly gonna ask for 5 mil per season which may steer miami away from him is the last ive herd

Word around the Saints is they decided to pass on Bentley after finding out his demands. He wants $5.6 mil a year with a $11 mil signing bonus. There's an article in the Miami Herald that says the Phins aren't interested him at that price either......

Thats alot of money. Bye Bye have fun in Cleveland where you might make the pro bowl after a 6-8 year!

who knows, we still might be able to work out a deal. After the 3rd, you never know what we might be able to do. Im not throwing in the towel on him yet

The Herald says that Miami is interested in Bentley at that price if the CBA extension gets done. Just look at the caption under the pic of Bentley on this page:

I wouldn' hesitate to pay this YOUNG..PRO BOWL...TALENT
$$$$5 million+ per year...compared to what we are paying other players on the team even though most will be released I believe it would be money well spent.

He could be the cornerstone of this line for many years to come and lord knows this team needs some nasty SOBs on the offensive line.:tantrum:

Everything revolves around a dominant offensive line...

With a dominant line everyone will be better including QB,RB,WR,TE...
We need to have a group of nasty SOBs that kick a**:tantrum:

I hope we get Bentley and build around him then we will see Ronnie run for 2000 yards.

Yeah I just read that also. I was kind of surprised, actually. But it works for me if it works for Nick and Wayne. It's not my money to complain about.

The Dolphins need a guy in the middle of the line who has a nasty streak, who by the way is pretty good player, and paying him 5+ million a year, IMO, would be a bargain.

5 mil a year for a center is not a bargain. Its highway robbery. I am perfectly fine with Hadnot at center.

At some point we are going to have to pay to get a good offensive lineman

I personally see him headed back to Ohio in a Browns uniform.
