reason: they already know what they have in McCowan and to ease Henne into playing in the NFL

The first assumption being made is that all three guys will play. Not sure about that. Sparano keeps hinting that he'd like to just play two. On the other hand, the fact that they won't divulge the rotation may suggest they're playing all three of them, and they may just be keeping it under wraps because Sparano refuses to lay down any set rules about how long each will play.

In the past years, we have played 4 quarterbacks in the preseason, as most teams do. I find it hard to believe that two of them will take all of the snaps.

I would like to see Beck play the first team defense. We all know how McCown does against their kind, and Henne isn't ready.
