Last year we started the season 2-0 by beating horrible teams and than we faced some elite teams and got crushed. We never got that tough win last year that we needed to really take us to next level, what we need is a dominating performance against the chargers to get this teams confidense back, forget about tanking the season, that is not going to happen anytime soon, maybe in week 12-13 we will start tanking and puttin our starters on IR and whatever but it just isnt happening anytime soon, realistically speaking. Atleast i hope not. The chargers are are one of the elite teams in the nfl right now and a win over them could get this teams confidense back. I for one am glad we did not beat the browns because i think this loss to the browns is going to do more good for us than bad. In these losses sparano is finding out alot of his o"old" tricks dont work anymore, his fgs aint winning him anymore games and he also is seeing that chad henne needs a power run game to be successful in the redzone. Chad henne sucks in the redzone and if sparano hasnt figured that out by now god help him. Another thing is reggie bush, i always wanted to see what reggie could do as a between the tackles runner but its proven that reggie is not a between the tackles runner, by now sparano should know that he needs to adopt new orleans style of using reggie bush on this team, put him out in the flat, make him run some routes as a wr, or give him a few screens a game. We need to get bush out in space, period. Adjustments need to be made, we are 0-3 and what sparano has been doing is clearly not working.
When we get in that ****ing redzone sparano needs to pound that f-ing ball in with DT up them middle. I dont give a f if chad henne wants td, pound that f-ing ball in there until it gets in and if it doesnt, atleast you can say you "tried" sparano cause chad henne in the redzone is pretty much useless.
A win over the chargers will give this teams its confidense back, but im not talking about a close game, im talkin about a dominating performance by the dolphins, not a blowout win but a dominating performance. We need that confidense back to get back in this thing. People who wanna tank this season are insane, we havent even played the jets or the bills yet! The browns were a joke, we had that game in the bag if sparano doesnt be conservative and keep playing not to lose. We are the better team but our head coach is holding this team back but i cant give up on this team, a true fan wont ever atleast until close to the end of the season where we are out of playoff contention.
