Whats up with every one wanting Joe Flacco?

I am just woundering what is so speacial about him he has good size and arm strength but so does Andre' Woodson so i was just woundering why ever one likes him so much i dont have anyting agianst him but again i dont really know what he can do on the field i have never watched him so if u guys can fill me in on him that would be great
 
I don't trust D2 QBs, but if he plays great in the Senior Bowl and has a great combine, I bet someone bites on him early.
 
Big Ben II???

I have heard scouts are comparing him to a Ben Roethlisberger type of player. So in my estimation that is a good comparison to some teams.

Best arm in the draft. Really special arm. That's about it really other than his size. Very, Very raw. A long term project

I' ve seen Joe Flacco play several times living here in Delaware and let me tell you this guy has a chance to be real good. Now granted the level of competition is not the greatest going against Villanova , West Chester , William and Mary ,etc. This guy has a cannon for an arm and is very accurate. He is a big boy at 6'5 and reads defenses real well. He is projected by some to go as early as the 3rd round.If he somehow slips to maybe the 4th I would take a chance on him.He would be a steal at that spot.
 
Those videos were pretty impressive. Kid has a killer arm and seems very accurate. Like Beck learned this year...the NFL speed makes the game play alot faster hten what he was used to.

We must remember also...this was a 3 minute highlight film. It doesn't show all things.

Yeah exactly. He plays alot out of the shotgun and he's had trouble with the center exchange this week at the Senior Bowl practices. Basically he's raw clay that still needs to be molded
 
I've seen him twice on tv...I think he is actually 6' 6" and has a very strong arm, but other than that my guess is as good as yours. It would be nice seeing him at the combines.
