Has anyone else noticed, in the last 2 games especially, that Ronnie doesn't look anywhere as explosive and fast as he was prior to the last 2 games? I just want to make sure it isn't me. I'm hoping he isn't playing hurt and if it is just in his head that he snaps out of it soon. What do you guys think?

yeah ive noticed it as well :boohoo:
i hope its just a slump
&
i think the raiders will give him plenty of holes to get out of the slump:woot:

I would say resist the urge.

He looked great (and explosive) on that last touchdown against seattle. I often find myself wanting to take things at face value instead of taking everything into concideration- including but not limiting to-defesnive schemes, run blocking and play calling.

Just be thankful that no defense can defend everyone, its just not possible.

exactly right when i start thinking he might be feeling his knee or something else he jumps out with a play like the td last week.
We shouldnt expect to much this year coming off the surgery i think he spoiled all of us with being a savage early in the year

I thought he looked great, even on his gains of only 1-2 yards he makes sure the defenders earned that tackle. He fights for every yard, I have no doubt about that.

Rarely do you ever see 1 guy take out Ronnie, an if they do it is because he got knocked around by a couple players before.
I don't know what games you saw out of him But I see that same fire in every play he touches the ball, the only difference being that now Defenses are taking notice of him and shutting him down.

I have to disagree with you here, I didn't think he looked that explosive during that play. Then again, the way the blocking was set up for him, I think it may have been better for him to be a little patient while the blocks got set up.

Teams have been stacking the box against our offense all year . . . and Pennington is starting to throw it deep to back them off . . . teams WANT Chad to beat them . . . and he is doing just that.

My thoughts exactly. Expect more of the same vs oakland with the added caveat that they have nothing to lose so expect a lot of single coverage on the wide outs with everybody else committed to stopping the short stuff.

this is why , my people that a good passing game with good recievers and good tight ends are important. which remineds me why hasnt Fasino been steeling the spotlight ? I would love to see Fasino make some highlight films or become the player of the week.

Patience Parcells And Tony Spread The Mystery, Be Patient Maybe This Week It Will Be A New Name Highlighted .
Ya Gotta Keep Em Guessing

We are beating the 8 man in the box, give the WR's some cushion strategy but just barely. I'm curious to kow if our running game would dominate 7 man fronts where corners come up and challenge the WR's and leave a safety deep.

the wildcat doesn't help. Hes the target in the wildcat, wear as everyone else is the decoy or secondary read. Hence Rickys success out of it this week.
